job posting: Adjunct Assistant Professor in Ceramics, Ohio University in Ohio

The School of Art + Design at Ohio University invites applications for a one-semester appointment in Ceramics for spring, 2017. Teach 3 classes total (foundations, intermediate and graduate level ceramics). The successful candidate should have a broad knowledge of ceramic techniques with a sculptural or figurative emphasis, knowledge of contemporary theory and historical concerns within ceramics and the wider field of art. A studio space, materials, firings, solo exhibition and public lecture will be provided.
Minimum Qualifications: M.F.A. in Ceramics and a successful record of professional work.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with undergraduate and graduate students, a record of professional achievement, and a commitment to the role of ceramics within an interdisciplinary and progressive art program.
