September 15th – 1:00 to 6:00pm

September 22nd – 6:00 to 10:00pm
On day one, potters will bring two or three bone dry small pots and apply terra sigillata to the surfaces.  The same afternoon the course participants will also build the paper kiln using an armature, wood, newspaper and clay slip. Pots will be bisque fired between sessions. On day two participants will decorate pots with colour enhancing materials. The kiln will then be loaded with the participants’ pots and will be fired at dusk. The colour enhancing materials will create unique fire surface.
